The Evered House artist residency hosts veteran-artists and those who serve in conflict zones, as well as first responders and other essential workers who serve our communities. The Evered House provides a safe and secure space for individuals with important stories to tell. The house brings together an impressive group of mentors— successful artists and supporters who are available to work with residents in their chosen field. Our mentor board has among its ranks Emmy, Tony and other award winning artists and arts related professionals who are available to mentor our residents during their stay. Founded by writer and director Charles Evered, the program is dedicated to his father, Charles J. Evered (1918–1979) who was a veteran of World War II, Army Air Corps.
